Over the past few days, since I have not been able to play polo, I was thinking about it. lol. Now, I was wondering about this question, something that everyone has been thinking about for a long time. Why does our team always quarrel? Why do we always try to prove ourselves right?
Well, I thought of an answer and I want the everyone in the team to read this plzplz.

In secondary 1, I remember that some of us always slack during the sprints while others go all out. Then when the one who goes all out says: "Eh i beat you leh. Haha." The other will respond, "Aiyo I slacking what... Just need to put in a little more effort then can liao." I know we dun really have a big problem with slacking, but we have to work hard. In the earlier scene, if you slack all the time, the other guy who works hard will eventually beat you. We shouldn't be arguing whether someone else is better than you too. For example, Marcus said that the other day he and shawn were asked by jiao lian to play wif the secondary 3s or 4s (or sth liddat). Well, someone is bound to be unhappy about it definitely. However, the first thought that came to my mind was, they must be training as the centerman. I hate to say this, but we are jealous of one another when it comes to things like that. We always say, "Aiyah jiao lian or mr lim favour him lar..." and other stuff you can think of. We shouldn't be thinking this way, really. We should instead, work harder and prove that we have the talent so that jiao lian pick us for the team.
Now, to the problem. I realised that many of us always try to prove ourselves right, saying: "hey i was free he should have passed the ball to me" and stuff like that. Yes, yes he should have passed to you. Maybe he was wrong, maybe he wasn't. You never know what he may be thinking or experiencing at that time. Someone might be grabbing his balls so hard he can't even move, and thus the lousy pass. There isn't a right or wrong in playing waterpolo. If something goes wrong, EVERYONE has at fault and a part to play in letting it happen. Waterpolo is a team game. We should not be asking ourselves who is right or who is wrong. We should be asking ourselves why are we wasting our strength and precious 30 seconds on pointless quarrels when we can work hard together to earn a goal.
Sometimes, of course, the person may be truly at fault, if he admits it himself. However, you dun have to scold him there and then; you can scold him till he cries after the match. Mr Lim always says, "If you are already killing your own friends in a war, how are you going to fight the enemy?" Please everyone, can we just keep quiet during a match and leave all we want to say to the end? That will solve everything.

Well, whatever I say here might or might not help, (it's been said quite a lot of times), but please just remember. March 2006. We already lost to ACS Barker Road because of this. Are you going to let it happen again? Are you going to let them take the title so easily? Ultimately, it's for the good of the team. Yep, that's all, please remember this.
