i haven't been blogging for a long time!! I went for the prefects' training camp for the past two days and it was rather interesting... First day was really damn boring cos there were talks and talks and talks about our RIPB's direction for the upcoming year and other misc. stuff that we had to handle, like the arrangements for the students on the new Raffles Square on the first day of stuff and such. Well sometimes i do feel very disappointed that few students actually recognize the prefects' efforts... Was officially announced as the board's public relations officer [: The second day was more interesting because there were more hands-on stuff to be done, like the NEP(newly-elected prefects)s touring the EP(elected prefects)s around, so we got to torture them by acing as the parents and asking ridiculous questions. Nabil and Zheng Xuan were acting as parents of mine, and were trying to divorce each other haha. Then in the second day's afternoon we had some birthday celebration for the nov/dec birthday babies. The exco was chosen to feed the babies with coke from the baby bottles (lol kristian i love your idea) and here's the pic of Jiahao and Kaushik from the front (erhm.) and the back. Well i sidetrack a little... that day on Christmas I went to Robinsons with my family and here's my bro standing at the huge banner lining the road. haha we were a bit crazy that day...
and umm... so we got a weird kind of jelly in our dessert for prefects' camp... but quite cute lar haha.
oh yea... ONE big thing i did. I went ice-skating!! well it isn't really very difficult cos i know skating itself... but the boots were really very flexible and i couldn't tie them tight enough to hug my feet like what i usually do in roller-blading... so i couldn't balance too well. but i still could skate rather well, jus had a few um interesting bumps wif people, including a small boy whom i lifted off the floor and put him down later (cos i banged into him). Ice-skating's interesting!! haha and so is roller-blading; but too bad i am too far from fuji ice palace, so I will have to do more of my roller-blading. I got my entire pants wet and slid across th entire floor when i was attempting a very wide crossover.
so here i am blogging on the eve of new year... gonna play O2jam straight after this. Here's a final pic: my niece!!so cute rite!! happy new year in advance everyone... going skating again tomorrow morning!! [:

forgot to say this: MERRY CHRISTMAS.

hmm. my blog's dying leh!! Anyway I did a blog quiz and here it is...
You Are 17 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.
13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!
40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
it just happened i was looking at someone's blog and ya i went to do this since i had nothing better to do... Haha and I am a PRO now!! Public relations officer if you don't know what that means. The other implication is that I will be going to other schools quite often!! Haha!! So fun! The other departmental roles are quite sian compared to this: dossiers... attendance... room maintenance... training and development. That's the happy thing, but yesterday I fell. AGAIN. This time on the OTHER LEG omg... And it wasn't because I went too fast or any other reason, but because THIS TIME, I tripped over a bloody seed. Last week it was a branch. I guess i shld blame it on the rain arghhh. Now for the painful part: it was on an old injury so it's quite deep. The irony: I got a washer/lubricant to make my wheels go faster, so I fell. Well this is probably one of the disadvantages of skating, you can't do anything much when you trip on something on the floor. Went to Parkway Parade last night to do some shopping and I got myself a new pair of black shoes for next year, since the old one is quite hard and painful. Less than 10 days when school starts, and somehow, I am quite looking forward to it. Hai it's so boring staying at home. Going ice-skating at Jurong on next Thursday wif my bros. First time!! Yay... let's see how I will do. Well at least this time there's nothing to trip over huh. (only my own legs haha)

Wheeee!! another post... went out with friends the other day and we watched eragon at The Cathay. The plot was pretty normal; you know, the kind you would expect to see in fantasy movies, but well, I don't really blame them, cos it's darn difficult to make a fantasy movie with real-life figures. haha guess what I am implying: ANIME!!!! yep i think anime is sooo much better for making a fantasy movie, for example we have Fate-Stay night talking about the Seven Masters fighting for the Holy Grail with their seven servants. lol enough enough of anime (i am watching naruto now... XD) So back to that day... hmm I was late and had some problems navigating arnd the PS area (so sua1 gu1 right). The cinema was like some broadway theatre and jerald was saying the dancers might just come springing out from the sides. Went back to plaza sing for lunch and it so happened that two of my friends were sharing the same bowl of food, so the rest of us were like 'eeeeeeeyyyyyeeerrr' on the inside, but we simply stared lar, didn't say anything. Well at least for me, think marcus's thoughts were quite similar too, cept he didn't say it. Next we went jamming at some ulu place: so ulu i didn't even know how to tell my mum where i was later on =__+" <<< (this is the new punk monkey logo!!! hehe) It appears that jerald brought along his damn pro guitar cousin and i got totally owned. So i wanted to learn a little from him, but hai, he only has all the tabs in his head. !!!!!!(*^%&^%&$$##@) *um relax that's not a code
The only thing i really got was some inspiration to continue playing guitar, so i managed to push myself a little beyond 'the intro of wake me up when september ends'. I left a little early, so i did not manage to catch luwei with erhm someone, or so i heard... BUT in return for that, i bought a really nice shirt with my bro and mum for the upcoming CNY, so maybe i will wear it the next time we guys go out again.
Hmm. Back to present. I look arnd me... a condition-zero disc, my bro playing css... some flashes of lightning out there... and me feeling ultra sian. tt's why i am blogging. hehe. shld i come up wif a code? [: hang on there...
OHHH. i just rmb again!! Something happened to me yesterday at ECP.
[<3]space[professor-degree without the D][one of the letters found in my 1st word][rmb the coolest character in deathnote? two of him]
lol i realised that is so not a code. More like a riddle. hai anyway! Have fun figuring it out. And btw, i seriously HATE BRANCHES TO THE CORE. bb

lol i am typing at 11.30pm now... and my bro is sitting next to me, saying that he has come up wif a new eq or sth liddat... yea the usual psychoing. Guess the night has gotten into his head. He's saying that one can move faster if he is bigger, just like a bigger ball can move faster than a smaller ball. hha he actually came up wif this in the night at 11.30pm lolll. I was just telling him about hackers and how 'not true' the newspapers were about all the tech stuff (cept Digital Life of course; they rock). A person who does not secure his network is simply asking for trouble sia. Seriously if u would just use 5 min of your life securing your comp and everything, you will not waste another few days of your life recovering your computer from viral attacks and blah blah hackers. Tell you what: never store anything important to you on the comp, it's never safe. And by the way, most ppl fail to see that YOU control your comp and not the comp controls you. And shit he's talking abt pens now. Questioning the 1+1=2 thing. Saying why can't it be 1+1=3. HAHA shit i am going crazy too. Forget what i said above. lol.... (1,4 of the Fibonacci)(00)SPACE(19*a)(00)(the sound made by a stallion when u whack his arse)(*a-3^2+10) what the hell is going on wif my head. decode that.

hmmm seems like blogger has come up with a new beta version... pretty fresh. And I haven't posted for quite some time huh. Yep, I've been busy with all the bloody SMP stuff (which I still failed to get in the end... ><) , OBS stuff and tuition... well all the same old prefectorial work. Still wondering why blogger doesn't want to add more fonts to it's drop-down menu though. Will be going out on wednesday with classmates and some of my friends again to orchard road this time round. Still trying to grab more people to tag along. Hai. What to post. I'm starting to think blogging is kinda pointless... Guess it's because I don't have the time or 'inspiration' to post anymore. Same thing goes for msn...tub on eno lliw ssim em os i nud illaer erac...
So... since I am bored of those two, I am switching back to games XD. Borrowed Splinter Cell from brian (know it's kinda old, but who cares; it still rox) and I'm still into CS: Source. Probably gonna play till school ends. OBS is COMING!!! looking forward to the new year ahead. [: don't know when is the next time I'm gonna post again...

yay update!! my bro just psychoed me again this morning. Well, actually I was the one who asked for it XD I asked him to teach me more about DNA and somehow we got to talk about enzymes. So... here goes. Take a deep breath....:
Firstly, you know quite a lot of enzymes end with 'ase' at the back right? Yep. He said most of the time such enzymes are those that carry out a process called hydrolysis. I asked what is hydrolysis, so he told me to just heck care and rmb that it is the cutting of 'something' with water. And of course when you cut something you need an instrument right. So enzymes are the instruments which are used to carry out hydrolysis. An example: amyl-ase. See the 'ase' at the back? It is the hydrolase (or in other words the class of enzymes that carry out hydrolysis). The word in front is the short form of a name of a chemical. As such, ase is the 'instrument', while the name of the chemical in front is the 'something' on which hydrolysis is carried out on. SO. what does amylase do? It is an enzyme that carries out hydrolysis on the chemical amyl. Amyl is just the short form of a long chemical, but he told me if you know what amyl is, it is already pro enough. Well then. Muha. Another part of it is: Not all enzymes have chemical-like names at the front. For instance, stuff like 'transferase' or 'polymerase'. They are english words that exist in the Oxford dictionary. So the enzyme simply carries out that process that is named. Another cheam one is 'oxireductase'. So yea, it simply means that the enzyme catalyzes the tranfer of one electron from one chemical to the other. Haha. I am starting to get confused le. Ummmm. Ok so such enzymes with english names at the front are not within the class of enzymes called hydrolases. He said that I need not know anything beyond hydrolases for now because I wouldn't even be using such knowledge in secondary school. Well I guess it's a nice way to say that I am a noob. XD Haha. I love this man. Then he taught me stuff like CCK, a hormone that causes you to lose appetite, makes your oesophagus move food down faster, makes your stomach digest food slower, makes your small intestine absorb food faster and make your large intestinal+rectum shit faster. HAHA. All for one simple goal: to clear your digestive system of any particle, except the stomach which can serve as a reservoir to store stuff. Wow this is sick. he says it's gonna be tested in NUS for his medical test this coming friday and some of his mates still dun understand it. lol... Ok. enough enough. I think most of you would have stopped reading. big bro's coming back on monday. man i am gonna have a hell of a time digesting all this... haix and a friend's going to shanghai le... good luck!! you know who i am talking about.
