wootsss i finally got some time to blog! cos there are no tests next week haha. i finally got my APR yayy! it dropped by... o.05 from my last gpa. 3.68! not too bad for a sec 3 i guess... i shall not blog about tests for once :D
there was the hci-ri cup on monday and we won!! by penalty shootouts haha. hci was just unlucky to miss 2 balls in a row... and sadly, is this what you call rafflesians? self-explanatory. oh well.. i suppose now i am more justified in saying that ri guys are kinda senseless? it was RIGHT IN FRONT of the hci guys you know. 
And check this out hahahaha! some 3L guy went to whack a ball at the projector i think :P and the whole thing got tilted and we had to go through the lesson with our heads tilted too.
And here... you have detention lines which i got from zong yi the detention IC. he says he has one whole shoe box worth of these pieces of paper now loll.

okay nothing really happened these few days, cept for endless mugging. And a little of playing after that endless mugging. hm. yea :D ernest lent me this game called dawn of war, some strategy game. Really cool! It's almost the same as War of The Ring or Red Alert 2 or Command and Conquer, but the thing that makes it different is that it has many different races and they each have their unique stuff. Umm Chaos race for example, the villians, they have something like the ultimate warrior, the Bloodthirster which looks sth like the balrog in War of The Ring... And the best part is, its health will deplete once it stops fighting! woots.

here's ANOTHER one :D i'm not a youtube fan, relax, it's just that I got all these vids from friends haha. This one's about this small buffalo which was eating grass at the bank of a river, afterwhich it gets attacked by this swarm of crocodiles. Next comes along this pack of lions which try to snatch, so the two sides fight over the buffalo.. Then guess what! Now the entire pack of big buffaloes come charging at the lions HAHAHA. Okay enough of recommendations haha. You know, I just cant imagine the all the crap that society will do to us next time... In fact, even now sighh. Actually it's just Singapore in particular, because I haven't been to many other countries. If you would just take a walk around, you will see people whose faces are like oh-you-better-dont-stare-at-me-or-i-will-kill-you. It's just ridiculous, really! Okay fine with the exception of some happy people around that's all... Why can't everyone just have a smile on their faces?? Try going on the MRT in the afternoons, or the buses. Everyone is seriously like dammnnn sian la omg. Just try looking at someone for... 2 seconds? (no i'm joking. dont try! xD)
ahh and i said this before too... why on earth is everyone so cynical about every single little thing? esp ri guys. OKAY. *some ri guys. no. *most ri guys. yup. in the mornings, we see prize presentations, we see RE groups going up to announce that they are selling things and so on. And after the poor guy receives his prize, you hear a few pathetic claps from the side of the raffles square. Who? The prefects and a few teachers. It's just disappointing laa. you go to match supports, everyone just whips out their handphone or psp or what not and starts playing, saying that 'oh we cheer they also cannot hear whatt. what school spirit are you talking about? If they trained hard, they win. Happy lor. They trained lousily, they lose. Too bad. Nothing to do with us. Life goes on.'

Endless streams of tests and assignments and class tests. So everyone just concentrates on their work so much till they can't come for CCA at all? CCA is called CO-CURRICULAR activities for a reason HELLLOOOOUUOOOOO. -.- look at ching whye, i really admire him you know! Yes cw if you are reading this, it is a comment. He actually feels for his school, as a normal student. Not a prefect or anything. A student! Will the rafflesian feel the same way? I doubt so.

Then on the same day in the night, there was this really really irritating cricket in my room, so when i finally found it and tried to whack it i hit my finger against the wall HARD. ouch. then i got a bruise which turned purple and still hasn't recovered. sighhh. this is so depressing.
I won't ever forget this monday man. It's the stupidest day of my life. (so far!)
Then today was national day celebrations.. Totally boring i tell you! the only interesting part for me was the speaker's section. The speaker was really cool haha! even though he's already like 80 years old or sth this year. During the Q&A session no one asked questions, so he said with a grin, "well guys, if you dont ask questions, i'll have to go down and ask you!" hahaha a really hearty old dude. Wish i can be like him when i age next time :D when he left he picked up his walking stick and waved it in the air. hahaaa we should have more interesting speakers like that...
Then after school, i went to ernest's house to do history pt with xp and yiliang. so siann man do from like 12.30 till 6... non stop sighh. luckily we were supplied with two whole packs of chocolate, so yeaa it wasn't too bad :D AND i drew this skullhead which seems really really satanic, so i dont know whether zhao kai would want it on our pt... cos he's a devout christian you see... oh btw the topic is on black death so everything has to be grim and morbid! yuppp. have to go back to do tmr SIGHH. so now, i need some good rest! see ya..

the MUGGER
These guys are the hardcore main engines of the school's academic achievements. They mostly are eaten by the evil loads of homework (or in some cases, choose to be eaten) and can be seen holding notebooks during breaks. During free time, you can see them staring at their textbooks or self-made notes. The main content of their conversations hangs at the discussion of assignments, completed olympiads, tests or marks. A real life sample of whom i shall not quote is as follows: "I am soo disappointed in my math cct. -emos-" *takes his cct paper and stares.* wow. he's upset over a 31.5 upon 30 because the max is 32. (please note that this is maths RA)
The mugger can be broken up into 2 further sub divisions. The smart mugger and the dumb mugger. SMs do not need to study much and have claimed that they only study on the eve of their tests by taking a few short glances. Freaky. Dumb muggers are people who study till they wanna die but only get slightly above average marks.
the SPORTSMAN
The sportsman is dedicated to his CCA, in particular, a sport. He is often spotted with a giant luggage-like bag which may usually contain only 2 pairs of trunks and a towel. They may also carry with them large 2L bottles and boots. Sportsmen (sigh. i would say guys actually) are easily identified by their strong builds. Swimmers usually have broader shoulders and bronze hair, along with hairless legs; waterpolo players are different in that we do not have bronze hair, we have hair XD and we have more ball sense.
Ruggers are usually much longer either vertically or horizontally. There are few ruggers who are medium sized. Ruggers can be identified by their more poser bags and shoes, and in some cases, hair.
Judo ppl are usually pale-skinned, due to their trainings in the enclosed gym. However, it is advisable to avoid fights with judo guys. Self-explanatory.
Trackers. Sprinters usually walk at a slower pace compared to other people and may be mistaken for emoing. Most have hunched statures. Crosscountry runners are easily identifiable by their fetish for short pants and by their overly enlarged calves or thighs.
