Yesterday we played ACS Independent. Scores: 11-3, we won. It was more of a cooling down game for everyone and we slacked a lot. There was just one thing i hated man... The last ball. I took the ball from this sec 1 dude and drove in. Then since there was this guy in front of me, I passed the ball to Andrew, who was so free. Guess what. He smacked it straight at the keeper. Walao... Ok now i understand what weishen means by driving till he drops dead. Anyway, our team got screwed by de'cruz because three of our teammates displayed poor sportsmanship. Well i shan't say the names, but what happened was that one of them lobbed the ball in, and the other two laughed. The other incident was that one of our players hit the opponent (i would love to do that too, but it's against the rules) out of anger. The ACSI coach complained to mr Lim and yep, we got screwed, but not too badly. That's the end of season, phew... But seriously, it's a big regret that we didn't get into the finals.
Next week I am going to see the lung specialist about my coughs which have been happening like 5 months back since. Wa, i really am very scared, cos my mum keep telling me, should ask the specialist to let me stop playing polo, maybe because of the chlorine water and stuff like that. I tell you, if i stop playing waterpolo, I will be really depressed man. That's the only thing I look foward to in school, seriously. But never mind, Ying rong had a similar problem too last time, and he recovered too. so i guess i should be ok... :P.
Got loads of work to catch up wif now...

Today we played Hwa Chong Institution. We lost. It was 6-4. It was a tough match though. No one scored in the first quarter. Everyone was hard on their opponents and no one took chances. But there is something which I cannot bottle up in my heart. The referees were bloody biased. In the last quarter (for the benefit of those who have not played, a quarter is 6 min long), our team got 9 mansacks in total. That is, the player cannot play for 20 sec, which is practically the whole time of possession of 30sec. THAT WAS CRAP. 9 MANSACKS. That must be the most number of mansacks ever gotten in waterpolo history.
The referee was a former HCI coach. DUH. The other referee was a substitute who replaced the referee who was supposed to be there. Great rite? Perfect. Our team, I believe, tried its best, but just because of a few blunders here and there, and of course, not forgetting the REALLY FAIR referees, we lost. I am not trying to be a sore loser here, but seriously, 9 mansacks is unbelievable. Within 4 minutes you know?! Of course, I have other reasons for calling them biased. First, our players just like tapped them on the shoulder or merely shoved them a little, and we got a sack. Guess what. Marcus drove, three opponents jumped onto him and whacked him. He literally sank all the way down. Haha, no mansack or penalty. NOT EVEN A FOUL. Yea the referees were being really fair you know, really fair. I really can't take this. But of course, we all know who should have won. I know in my heart who was the true winner. And so does everyone. Tomorrow we are up against ACSI for 3rd/4th placing match. We would definitely get 3rd. Well, that's all, folks. We lost. *Bloody referees*

Yea i just thought i should put some pictures up to give my blog some life...
This is the black logo for the Raffles waterpolo team(left). Looks cool rite. And this one at the bottom is our competition trunks. It's waterproof and is really tight for me.

my uncle just came back from adelaide today after visiting my bro, who's studying at University of Adelaide, Medicine Fauculty. pretty cool huh. He brought back for me a huge frog, the one in sesame street haha, i will put up a picture of it ASAP, and many cans of tuna. I tell you, the tuna from Australia rox to the core. The ones in Singapore are like only 5% of it lor. They have mild indian curry flavour and some other funky recipes. Oh yea, if you wanna see my face, go to the links section and go to my bro's blog. He should have some pics of my family there, taken during chinese new year. I am the youngest kid haha. Oh yea, i wanna ask if there's a really pro doctor out there. Tell you something, i have been coughing for 5 months already, need a cure man... It's really irritating at times. wa it's 10.50pm already... okok, i go sleep liao, will post again tomorrow.

10:41 PM
As usual, I went to East Coast Park today. There were some set-ups for the Singapore Biathalon tomorrow and they looked really cool. Especially the finish line. The swim is 15km long, which i dun think is much of a problem to me, but the run is 10km... :( Well, i am more of a fish than a mammal. The word 10km run totally puts me off. If it were 7km i would still might be able to pull through.
Today is reallly crazy for me. I guess i had too much energy. Went from the maze area (somewhere near the yacht complex) all the way to the other end at the construction area, ON SKATES ok... Crazy man...Crazy... I guessed i really pissed some ppl off though, zoomed past them with a 2cm gap or something. There was this guy trying to act cool (took off his shirt*no packs loOol*, skating backwards). Haha, who didn't know how to do that... I bet you no one in east coast can beat me in backward skating, except for a few pros. I was like so pissed wif him lor, he was hogging the whole road. Haha, guess wad i did. Went straight up to him and skated in front of him, making him stumble a little. THEN HE FELL!!! DUH... that feeling was great man... but dun worry, he only got a shock, no injuries at all. I sped off right away man... lol i was afraid that he would come after me. It was not really intentional anywayz. yep so i skated all the way to the end and back. I tell you, my legs were trembling after that. I still went for a skate sprint at the newly made road beside BrightSparks. SHIOK man....
Any skating enthusiasts out there, come find me at east coast every saturday abt 5.30 to 7pm++. I am this kid ,wearing usually a white t-shirt and arena black shorts, skating up and down east coast. If you wanna challenge me in sprinting, you're welcome. Look out for me and remember to say hi if you see me.

Man... weishen is playing really bad today, during the match and during the afternoon training... He must not do this for monday or we will die...
haha, on the way home today, woowank, one of my sick(mentally) seniors gave my a 20min lecture on how to get a girlfriend in the library and in a tuition class. It was really funny, i bet you! He said if the girl dares to smack you on the shoulder for a reason, then it means interest. loOol... I was laughing my head off. But seriously, I think that as secondary students, we should concentrate more on our studies and not stuff like that. Of course, I wouldn't mind if I get one, but it would really affect my studies. hey i know what you are thinking: i am a mugger. NO i am not a mugger. I am balanced out ok... Both sportsman and student, hmm... prefect too, lol. Ok, that's all for today, go play some rakion for now.

6:37 PM
Today was the match against ACS (I). It was a breeze for me; just a normal game, though I fought a bit with the winger. What happened was that I held his hand underwater (which was really normal in waterpolo) and he became really pissed off with me. Perhaps it was because I too strong, lol, and held him too hard. Then he pulled my other hand and elbowed me, and accidentally knocked into my mouth. That got me furious, lol, I did the same, slammed my body against him and elbowed him underwater a few times. I was really lucky that the referee did not notice it, because I was making lots of splashes and grunts. loOol. The best part was, after I fought with him and it was center ball again, he told his team mate, "Hey, you go up, I will stay back. I am really tired..." *Guess what, he only came in for like 2 minutes* haha... Final score was 10-2, with us, Raffles Insitution thrashing them, for a long time.
Well, but the crucial match is on monday though; if we lose it, we are getting 3rd. If we win, at least, by two goals, we are in the finals. Hwa Chong is quite strong, but I believe we are stronger. I keep telling myself that they are just a pack of ex-swimmers who have no skill in waterpolo at all, just speed. It would really be a pity if we do not make it to the finals. WE MUS WIN!!!!

6:28 PM
Well, just had my second blog in abt a year, i abandoned my last, hopefully this would not come to the same terrible end though... Today was a rather interesting day for me, with the SAF ensemble coming over for a performance. They sang really well and the best part was when Marcus sabo'ed Mrs Seow... *Her face was red like hellfire* They sang Sweetheart or something like that and got her to dance a little. I was laughing my head off and so was the whole of 2C and 2E and whoever knew her. loOol... Got my chinese and malay paper back today, got 39.5/50 for chinese and 21/25 for malay. Malay's pretty cool, i just realised, you can criticize ppl who dunnoe it secretly... lol. Tomorrow is the match against ACS (I) and i am prepared to burn that guy out. On monday wif Hwa Chong....Haiz... It's a real crucial match; if we lose, we are out of the finals 4ever and ever..Get ready for updates on the waterpolo U-14 comp soon...
Going to sleep now, have a good nite's rest. Prepared to whack them till they cry... haha
