APCG ended, in a flash. Just like that. The first time we met each other facils was back then in May...June passed quickly and now, it's all over.
I think I have seen more things now. The wide spectrum of personalities, cultures, attitudes and how these things change under times of pressure. In my group there was: kyu-min, ji-hae both from korea, natalie, ping and nice all from thailand, zhi liang, yan lin and yew long from singapore, and of course, dono from hong kong.
It started off pretty awkwardly; the whole group was rather quiet and refused to speak up. But I think one person that really made everything very very different was my cofacil: AMANDAAAA. Amanda totally injected life and energy into the group, something which I think the guys (biquan and myself) would have never been able to do. Amanda, really, I don't know what the whole APCG experience would have been without you! So thank youu cofacil :D
Next up, we also have the jokes ic, Biquan! Biquan was the one who kind of became the most impt guy in ra-raring the group with his cool cool jokes :D Of course, he kept the facils alive too with his jokes which never fail to work our abs all the time. Thank you biquan! I mean it brother, straight from the heart ^^
Jocelyne, you were probably the most sensible person in our group who always made sure we kept on track during our discussions and saved me quite a few times :D and of course... not forgetting the dance which you took great pains to teach!! thank you joce!
YUAN JUN! The female robot zong yi :D in the most positive sense! You were the engine of our little group of 5 and I think I'd have died for the 2nd session if you didn't give me the questions... i didn't bring it hee. So thank you so much for everything you've done yuan jun!
Not forgetting... the rest of BIQideas!!! Zongyi, aarongoh, douglas, cheryl and soffia! We were an awesome group, you know it. The times we spent laughing together, playing the munjen game together, talking to each other, caring for one another; it will stay in my heart for a long time. The coolest group forever and ever ;) i'll miss the times that we spent together as a group.
Of course, all the other 45 facils who have made this whole youth summit great, you are AWESOME as well okay :D And at the end of the day, I ask myself this question: what have i done? Have i accomplished what I've set out to do?
If there is one thing I think I'm proud of in this youth summit, I think it would be that of changing yew long's perspective of things around him. I don't know if you might find this post one day, yew long, but I meant it when I told you that if you try to receive all things that come your way in your stride and with enthusiasm, you will be able to see the world around you in a different light.
And that's one thing that I think many of us youths, esp in singapore have to change in ourselves. We need to be more cheerful and acceptable to things, and not be all cynical when we are told to do things. I think I have changed that in you, my friend; I don't know if you feel the same way.
On the funnier side of things, here are the few highlights! First up, the munjen game, biqVSdouglas edition. They had to manually spin 30 rounds and then run to touch the whiteboard. The one who touches it first wins!
And you have the 9th episode, the last day munjen game :D
of course, the chickennutbread thing, I FINALLY get it omgomg hahaha. Thank you jeanhui for telling me :D then we had things like the ah beng version of stop and stare, 'stare what stare' many other things happened, things which I can never put in words here. And of course, this reaffirms that RJC is going to be pretty interesting :D
Hmm. How do you end off a long post like that? I don't know. Jo-ou used 3 thank you-s... i'm gonna use a really cool picture ;)
