Have you ever gotten a bad cold before? Chances are, you probably have. Mine's lasted for the past week, and apparently it has recently decided to cling on for a longer time. What does having a cold feel like? It feels like you have this tiny bug which is very excitable
, residing in your nostril and it takes much joy in weaving in and out of your nasal cavity. Basically, your nose feels so itchy you want to tear it off (and you can't), and at the same time, you want to sneeze, but you just can't do it cos there's just not enough uh.... build-up for a sneeze. Heh. T.T
Plus, the weather these few days have been extremely horrid. The humidity is totally not helping with the situation of my poor nose. And because of this horrible temperature, I am unable to sleep well either. Attempts usually end up with me tossing and turning around in bed, frustrated with the droplets of sweat that linger all over my torso and legs, as well as with that little devil in my nose.
Thirdly, my mom just doesn't seem to understand, that if you are sick, and frustrated, your level of patience just slips by quite a bit. And guess what? The CCT for my worst subject is on the upcoming week. How fortunate. Sigh.
Nevertheless, I still must take my hat off to those who are having their exams next week. It's been hard on you guys!
I guess, the only place where my heart can find peace and solace in my oven-like room now is listening to nice, soothing songs. I shall recommend this one: Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat (thanks Mr C! :D) It's a pretty mushy and romantic song, so it's not for the light-hearted XD And by the way, for best effects, you need to listen to it with no background noise at all.
